Vionnet is located in the commune of Villié Morgon in the heart of Beaujolais. As a friend of the most credible winegrowers in the region, he cultivates the vines respecting the characteristics of the soil, without chemical treatment and plowing. Everything is done by hand. In the cellar his style is very minimalist, with traditional vinifications, often in concrete tank, without any use of yeast, sugar, SO2 and filtration. The resultant wines are pure expressions of gamay, full of bright fruit, minerality and depth of flavour. These are true terroir wines that embody the different vineyards from which they come and some are some of the purest Beaujolais out there. Earthy, light-medium bodied, dry on the palate, exhibiting aromas and flavors of fresh Bing cherries and earth. Farmed organically.
