A blend of Müller Thurgau, Bacchus, Silvaner, Riesling and Weissburgunder. On the nose, there's lemon curd, brioche and white gummies. The palate is zingy but balanced and fresh, with notes of green apple candies, citrus fruits, and a light lactic tang.

We first met Andi about six years ago in London at Raw. Duct-taped wine bottles labeled “WHITE,” “MTH,” “SILVANER,” and “SKIN” caught our eye. We connected about over his family farm and carving out his own path with his exciting new label.

When we built the wine portfolio of Keep6, Andi’s wines were some of our first offerings. (And also his first export). To us, his wines are the ideal expressions of minerally German white grapes, thanks to the Keuper soil. His zero-zero approach and free spirit made these wines the perfect representation of our project as well, and it was a fitting match with us both at the start of our ventures. It’s the kind of wine you don’t have to think too hard about; you just drink it, effortlessly.
Now 6 years into importing wine, Volo is launching a series of “Volare” blends with our producers from all over the globe. Volo means flight in Italian, coming from the verb Volare meaning to fly. A nod to the classic song we grew up with, the name of our bars, and the idea of flying around the world, this flight of fancy is now a reality!

This first blend of the series made with Andi came together is the most unique and playful way. At another wine fair in Austria, we used water bottles to try different varieties and then blended them right behind the booth. It was a fun and different approach—spontaneous and cheeky. A great reflection of the spirit of Volare.
