Nerocapitano - the name locals use for Frappato—is a wine that speaks directly to the heart of the island. The grapes come from twenty-year-old vines planted in clay and sandstone soils. After fermenting on the skins for a fortnight, the wine is pressed and moved to concrete vats to rest, resulting in a light, bright wine, fragrant with notes of red cherry, blood orange, and wildflowers.

Rosato - is a blend of Nero d’Avola, Frappato, and a touch of Moscato, sourced from both Filippo’s own vineyards and a friend’s vineyard in Vittoria. These vines grow in sandy soils, and after just a few hours of skin contact, the wine is pressed and allowed a short rest in vats before being bottled young. The result is a generous rosé with vibrant aromas of oravnge blossom, citrus zest, and a subtle saline note—a perfect reflection of Sicily’s sun-drenched landscape. Filippo’s wines are a celebration of the land—organic, unpretentious, and deeply connected to the natural beauty of Sicily.
